The bakery in Chiang Rai
At the bus station, in central Chiang Rai, you find our bakery. Here, bread and pastries are baked in a Scandinavian manner. The bakery is well-attended by both the local population and foreign visitors. It also offers the possibility to have a nice thai meal in a warm and peaceful environment.
The ministry employs mainly youth living at the HuaDoi home, but also other youth living in town. The aim of the ministry is both to offer vocational training to the youth, and to be able to make financial contributions to BaanChivitMai.
The bakery was founded with the help from Sune Wissmar who runs Scandinavian bakeries in Laos. Some of the youth have been learned bakery skills at the Peder Skrivares upper secondary school in Varberg, Sweden.
